Next week our team will begin MAP testing in the computer labs. The MAP test is a computer adaptive test that helps us gauge the performance level of students in our math classes. Students will take this test in October and again in the spring time (most likely in May).
Also next week we will have our first week of a flipped schedule in which our morning and afternoon blocks are switched. This helps kids shake up their schedules and get a chance to do different subjects in the morning. So here's what next week and a little of the week thereafter will look like:
Monday 10/10
Mr. Lucy's and Mr. MacNevin's morning groups will be MAP testing. The time block all the way until lunch is reserved for this purpose just in case there are students who want that much time.
Tuesday 10/11
FLIPPED SCHEDULE! Our afternoon groups become our morning groups!
