No Zeroes!

What is a "no zeroes policy?"
A "no zeroes" policy means that a school refuses to accept missing work, incomplete work, or work that is done so poorly that it would result in a very low score. At Whatcom we strive to give give students meaningful work to do, and so we expect that work to be done to the best of a student's ability. We refuse to let a student fail.

How do you prevent failure?
Any student with work that is sub-par or missing will be expected to come in at other times to complete or redo the work. Students might be asked to come in at lunch time, to remain after school, or to come in early the next morning. If your child needs to stay after school, we'll have them call you to make arrangements.
